waiting ins approval

Hi! So nervous. I am waiting on insurance approval. Lady from my surgeons office thinks we won't have any problem getting approval but I still can't help feeling anxious. She said we should hear something by Monday and tentatively planning surgery for end of May. I can't believe I am almost there after trying for this surgery for the last 7 years! (Fingers crossed).

Hello!  Who do you have for insurance?  Do you have any comorbidities?

I have medicaid through the state of PA and I have several comorbidities (sleep apnea, hypertension, GERD, high cholesterol, borderline diabetes).

Hi Mag! Thanks so much for thinking of me. It's all very exciting. I just wish I didn't have to do an all liquid diet for the next month when I am trying to finish the end of semester in school. I have 3 research papers due by 4/27 and finals on 5/4 plus I work 30 hours a week. This is a very stressful time. Maybe I'll be too busy to think about eating... 

I would think with the pre-existing conditions you shouldn't have a problem but of course I'll say a prayer for you! I currently have BCBS & was approved on the first letter fortunately.  I'm scheduled at the end of May also. 

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! Isn't it exciting? I am both excited and nervous. Big changes. I have to do a 1 month liquid diet before surgery, ugh... funtimes. It's all worth it though.
