New Fridge and Pantry Items
An extreme couponer I am not, but I am starting to catch the couponing fever. However, it really doesn't save me much. I saved $14 in coupons at Costco today, which I then rationalized that I could be a $22 bag of pine nuts.
I thought this thread could be an opportunitiy to share those food and beverage items that were never in your vocabulary before the surgery. Share those items that are off the beaten path as everyone is looking to expand their post-op palate.
Blue Diamond Almond Milk- unsweetened vanilla flavored ( only 40 cals a cup, 0 sug, 457 mg calcium)
The Peanut Butter Company White Chocolate Peanut Butter (no refined sugar or preservatives...and oh so heavenly.... a little spoon lick is all you need)
Labrada Rock n Roll bars
Oh Yeah wafer bars
Edamame
Triscuit crisps for my 2% cheese, laughing cow spread or cottage cheese
Dreamfield's pasta
Frozen scallops (can saute 3 at a time)
Perdue premade turkey meatballs (3 is the magic number)
Low sugar spaghetti sauce
Avocados for guacamole (and to keep the leg cramps away)
Pure Protein premade canned shakes (35g of protein each)
Mission low/no carb white tortillas
What will you add?
