Gastroparesis

Hello everyone I was told by my surgeon that I have gastroparesis and I would have to get my surgery fixed because my pouch got en longed has anyone been through this process or heard about this before

Hi I was just diagnosed with gastroparesis after having an endoscopy. Told I had a hourglass shaped stomach and still had food in it even after fasting for 8 hours. Had Duodenal Switch in July 2011, a revision from RNY. Lost 20 pounds with this surgery and that was on protein shakes only. Have not lost any since. In fact struggle to maintain my weight. I thought people with gastroparesis lost weight.
