Birth Control Shot and how long to become fertile

Hello Everyone

Just wondering if anyone was on the Depo shot for a while before weight loss surgery and after. I have been on the depo shot for almost 4 years now and I'm wondering if anyone got pregnant very fast after the depo shot I have heard mixed stories but I have heard that it takes your body a while to go back to normal after being on the shot for a while just wondering what ya'll think...im going to speak with my OBGYN friday at my appointment but just wondering from all of you that know :)

I discontinued my depo shot, last one was in March so June it ran out. I still haven't had a period which means I'm still not ovulating :(

I go to the gyno next week to figure out how to make my periods come back so I can start looking into getting pregnant.

P.S. I was only on depo for two shots, so 6 months. I hate that shot!!! :-(

 See that's what im worried about considering I've been on it almost 4 years and yes I'm only four months post op but if it's going to take my body a hell of a long time Togo back to normal I want to plan accordingly or atleast try!
