HMO denied me for Boobs and even Scar Revision
The HMO Excess Skin Removal Comittee does not deem
my upcoming surgery for breast lift and revisions of acar that are very keloid and hypertropic to be medically necessary!
Damn them!!!
I if course plan on appealing but after I talk with my GP (whom I am waiting to see in the next hour) on these bad turn of events and the possibility of inguinal hernia.
I am not giving up-not with surgery scheduled mid-May!
I just don't know when I am supposed to tell my PS my frustrating news or wait until I appeal.
Words of advice and consolation are welcome.

I was at a friend this afternoon who has a scanner so
I can email everything to the proper appeals department.

Fight it lady!!!!! Insurance companies are notorious for this kind of thing. This is not cosmetic, it's recontructive. Fight it!

I am most definitely fighting.
And I supposedly have an inguinal hernia that I want to get USed and I'm "supposed" to get a colonoscopy to rule out why my tummy hurts after I go to the toilet and it's swollen in the evening sometimes (duh I had TT in August)! But gotta play by the rules.

Oh I am jealous of anyone who gets to go to Dr.S-his reputation precedes him.
