I have my first appointment booked with the Bariatric team at st. Joseph's hospital in Hamilton. I guess I'm just wondering how long everyone had to wait for there surgery after the first meeting. I'm so excited and ready for a healthier me.

I was referred to Hamilton in June 2017. Had orientation in October. Group nutrition class in December. Nurse appointment in January. Social worker and internist in March. Dietitian in May. Signed consent in August and am still waiting for the call for a surgery date. They estimated the surgery would be sometime in October. 15 months and counting.
