Happy hump day gang!  Today is day 2 of Couch 2 5K and then a workout with the trainer tonight at the gym.  Down 2.4 lbs since Monday, but I contribute that to loss of water....down is down I guess, just makes up for my little ups I've had the last couple of weeks.  Maybe my body is starting to be okay with this added exercise and is going to let go of the weight.  We'll see if the trend continues.

B - 3 farmboy meatballs

S - 5 slices of deli turkey with mustard (closer to noon to fuel my running)

L - chicken cordon swiss, cucumber slices

S- premier protein

D - shepperds pie

Totals - Cal 1067, Carbs 39, Protein 122

Have a great day!

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Good morning!  Guess it's almost afternoon already. Yikes!

i had a tough time yesterday.  Just didn't feel like eating.   I'm not much of a meat eater and I've been getting sick of tuna.  At first I thought this is great.  I'm having tuna, yogurt, eggs and cheese.  Now I'm sick of them.   I'm struggling to think of how I can get my protein in each and every day without forcing stuff down my throat.  I'd rather not eat at all.   Maybe when I get to the next stage it will get better.

B1 - decaf coffee

B2 - 1 egg and 2 yves breakfast patties

L - going to try Parmesan crusted halibut. (I've only had fish in fish and chips, never liked it without batter, hope I like this)

D - if all goes well with the halibut, I will have again.

S - cheese stick

Do you eat shellfish? I eat a lot of shrimp - lots of protein, easy to digest and low in calories. I sometimes have a few OZ as my entire dinner! Or you could make some salmon or whitefish?

Thanks for the suggestion.   I wish I liked seafood.  I've only ever been able to eat tuna (has to be Albacore) and fish & chips (has to be halibut).  I was hoping my taste buds would magically change and I'd suddenly love seafood.

The halibut was ok.  Wouldn't want it too often.  Maybe I should try some shellfish - ya never know.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I don't eat chicken thighs, but I am willing to try chicken breast.   I have a slow cooker, so sounds like it might be worth a try! ?
