Capsules

Will there be a time when I won't have to open my medication capsules to take with apple sauce.  Same with my iron pills mixing with water?

I could right out of surgery, I crushed mine a few days then left them whole, but some centres prefer you to wait though, see what your surgeon wants you to follow.
