Last night I passed out while talking to my son in the kitchen. He got me up to the couch , but he seemed over concerned, so he called an ambulance! scheesh now I feel like a dumbass. Apparently my blood pressure had dropped to scary levels 65/40. No wonder I felt like laying down ! I told the tech's that I wanted to stay home and refused transport to hosp. They said if they were called again , then I would have NO CHOICE,but to go. I told then that Ive  physical booked in 2 weeks and likely my meds need readjusting. They were prescribed for a woman who weighed 240, now im 140. So to all out there keep a vigil on your ever changing weight and meds prescribed for weight issues

wow I am also surprised your meds have not been readjusted yet....don't we need to see the doctor's regularly after WLS? I am just in the process and am in that dreadful " waiting period"...but I sure hope after my WLS I don't have to take my BP meds after I have lost 100 pounds! Call you doctor's office....2 weeks is a long time...good luck.

You should have them checked and adjusted a long time ago I bet you do not need to be on any of them anymore. Are you not following up with your family doctor or your bariatric centre.  If it happens again get to the hospital because you blood sugar and blood pressure could be dropping very low and can be dangerous. Can you not try and get into your doctor sooner.
