Just a bit of Vaginal bleeding!

When I first came home I was told I had an UTI infection.  I've been taking Cipro for 5 days of a 7 day dose.  Still having a little bleeding, no burning at all, never had any burning even at the beginning.

Has anyone experience just a bit of vaginal bleeding after the bypass?  I see my doctor Surgeon on Monday for 1 month checkup.

Just wondering.

Yes but I do not have regular periods any more , I can have a light show for two months at a time, and then get my period for three weeks.  I'm getting close to menopause so never blink an eye about things being regular or not, good luck with things.

Thanks Jane, it's weird because I have already gone through the change about 5 years ago.  So, I don't think it is that?

I'll probably just have to finish the Cipro I'm taking then see what's happening.  Glad I see the doctor Monday.

I have light to moderate bleeding continuously when I am losing weight.  I did low carb for about two years and virtually every day it was the same blipping thing.  My endocrinologist said it is my body releasing hormones into my body as fat is released.  I have PCOS though so my hormones are always messed up.  But I have heard that light bleeding can happen to any woman as estrogen is released it sort of tricks your body into bleeding. I have also had bleeding during/following at UTI.  Good luck and I hope it stops soon :-)

Thanks so much, that actually makes sense to me and may be what is happening.  Our bodies are so amazing.  I'll keep you posted how everything goes.  Thanks again.

My period is chemically suppressed and I hadn't had it for about eight years and I got my period two days after surgery.  It was like someone turned on the tap and then turned it off a week later.  Hasn't happened since.

It just so amazing how many people this happens to.  Thanks for your post.  I feel better now reading these.
