Hey everyone....so I had day surgery a couple of weeks ago, not related to my wls journey.  It was a pretty minor surgery, but had some issues arise before and after,  and  I felt that my surgeon, his operating staff, and his secretary handled everything with the utmost of professionalism.

I would like to acknowledge my appreciation, but am not sure how I should do it, or if it is even proper for me to do so.  At minimal I would like to do a thank you card to the doctor, but would like to give his secretary a little something, but not sure what is appropriate.

Any suggestions?  Is this okay to do?

Thanks

flowers, a plant for the office, gift card for timmies, and definitely a card expressing your heartfelt thanks.

In addition to the other suggestions. I would also write to the hospital's HR department - or straight to the CEO ( who will forward it). These letters are copied and put on personal's files. (=always welcome)

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.  I can't believe I debated so long over doing this, I just didnt know what was appropriate or not. It's just that this surgeon was a down to earth, honest and genuine caring doctor (no God complex there)...and his surgical staff, and the anesthesiologist were amazing.  I find in this day and age we are so quick to complain when there is negative.  How often do we actual hear compliments?

Will do  thank you cards for sure, and probably the timmies card for the secretary.  And I think I will write to the hospital as well.

Thanks again.

Thank you's are ALWAYS appreciated, no matter what you have received or where you have gone.

How does the saying go "it's not the size of the gift it's the thought"!
