Humber is favouring the "watch and wait" theory. . .have been since January. I told them today that if they refused operate soon I will go to Mexico and take my chances.
Those of you who have looked into Mexico as a self pay option for VSG or DS. Would you be kind enough to forward contact information for the centres you spoke to so I may investigate if the can help me and at what price.

I can't even begin to understand your frustration.Talk to Lindsay, she had her VSG in Mexico.
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

with hope for reversal back to my pelvic pouch. . .revision back not an option. . .once the gastric polyps were removed I had no stomach left so made a gastric pouch out of small intestine. . .I now have less than 1/3 of my small intestine

I am hoping the threat of seeking assistance in Mexico would stir them to action. . .that's when they came up with the feeding tube

Leona sorry to hear of you being shuffled around and nobody doing anything.
Obviously I haven't been to Mexico but keep on top of surgeons just in case. I know for DS, the only surgeon I ever see mentioned that anybody would go to is this one.
