It's pretty normal... Some have said they weigh up to 10 lbs more, has to do with all the fluids during and post surgery. I was only up 1 pound but I have an extra day and a half on you.

I gained every ounce I lost on opti. They had pumped a lot of fluids into me. This will go away. Glade you are home. Good luck with recovery

Welcome to the loser's bench.  The only thing that helped me with the gas pain was wandering around the house.  I just kept moving room to room and found that it helped.

I'm certain that you will sleep well in your own bed and now that you are home you will be able to get yourself into a routine which will also help the healing process.

All the best for a successful journey.  Muriel
