So i am not 2 1/2 weeks post op and am feeling pretty good! So far i can tolerate all that i have tried (all within hospital guidelines) however today, well today i tried vlasic bread and butter pickle (small one)... I wa unsure if i could, lookes for seeds, there was not any, and looked to see if there was anything about it in my book. So i braved it! So far no issues but now i am wondering if that was a bad idea due to the vinegar and new pouch? Hmm.i checked sugar content and all .. Just wanted to try something crunchy like that and flavorful.. Anyways any thoughts?

If you tolerate it go for it. Just chew until it is nothing. A year out I still have problems with them

Does it have on the side of the jar  "This pickle will make you self destruct"? lmao

If not and it gives no grief, eat and enjoy.

BUT.. here's the thing. There's a lot of acid in pickles and your "new parts" are still healing.. I'm not sure giving the new plumbing such a challenge with the acid so early out is a good idea? Kind of like pouring battery acid on an open wound comes to mind

I could be wrong.. it's happened.. once.. I think.

will wait for the oldies to chime in

I would watch the acid but if it goes down ok, that is the final test.

I found that dill pickles and Joy (my pouch) do not like one another. I feel a pain when I eat one. I think it is the acid in the vinegar. So if you have no pain, go for it.
