Hi All..

Ive been drinking the Premiere Protein shakes from Costco since being home from surgery to help keep protein up..

I have noticed that yesterday after drinking one and then tonight after almost completing one.. i am having a weird tummy ache/crampy ish feeling on my right lower side... does this mean I all of a sudden cannot tolerate these? Has this ever happen to anyone?

It is not an awesome feeling :/.. think its time to move on from this shake and try my own or try to eat my protein somehome :/,, bummer this were good and gave me 30g of protein per drink!

I like the chocolate-banana and the Chocolate-peanut butter.  Mixes great with water, some ice and use the magic bullet but also mixes great in a hand shaker.  Or add a little skim milk.

Hi Chanelle i too noticed i was getting tummy aches when i drank those shakes. I never really put two and two together thinking it was the shakes. Just thought more so it was part of recovery. So i found it interesting now that you mentioned this. With that being said i did go to popeyes and pick up one that u mix with milk or water. Its one scoop forc180mL od liquid no fat, 1g of sugar and 30g of protien . They come in vanilla bean, strawberry and chocolate. It cost m3 39.99 and it will last me 1 month. So there are other options out there :) Its called ISO sensation 93

Can you do/handle greek yogurt at all? Oikos 0% plain is like 12 in a 1/2 cup which is about 4oz (17 in 3/4cup) Add a bit of skim milk, some sugar free syrup, and if you want a boost either plain protein or a standard shake scoop puts it way higher and it can be stirred into way less... So like 1/2 scoop of powder into 1/4-1/2 cup of yogurt puts you at 20-30g protein in something you can eat or drink as needed.

Just a thought.

Big hugs,

Shell

Good idea Shell, I have found greek yogurt 0%  to be my friend with some kind of fruit and bran buds sprinkled on top!

I know myself some days certain foods go down so good and the next day I can't tolerate them.

Good luck on your journey Chanelle!
