How much is it for the optifast? $$$

Hello, I would like to know the average price for optifast for 2 weeks? Is it reimbused with insurance like great west and sun life? Thanks :)

I was on opti-fast for 6 weeks and it cost me $600.00,

so $100.00 per week and no insurance company offers reimbursement as far as I know.

I purchased mine through the clinic. 

For two weeks mine came to $183 and change

I am with Sun Life and parents benefits are through Great West Life and neither covered it.. its about a 100 dollars a week unles you find someone with some extra left over

If you buy it through the clinic you can expect to pay an extra $30-40 a box.

Get them to write you a script and get it at Medical Mart in Mississauga or where ever you are close to one.

Occasionally someone on here will have extra they are happy to give away as well

I'm going to be on it for three weeks (soon, please, soon!).   I've picked up my OptiFast, through the Ottawa Weight Management Clinic:

OptiFast - 7 boxes @ 14 per box = 98 packages - cost 293.16 or 2.99 per package.

Sorry for the lack of dollar signs, but OH is being finicky right now and creates strange characters.   But I digress.

Neither Sun Life nor Great West will cover the OptiFast.  While it is a "prescription", it does not have a DIN (Drug Identification Number).  

The WMC gave me a receipt, for income tax purposes, however.

 

Through Toronto western. I bought mine recently two weeks supply was $165.

and Toronto Western gets it from.......................Medical Mart in Mississauga

Hagen and his bunch charge $100 a week..
