and so excited! I was injecting insulin about 5 times a day. Now I only have to inject once every three days! Finally starting a new phase in my life, what freedom!

That is fantastic!!! my 7yr old son is 1 more A1C away from getting the pump, so our fingers are crossed. He takes 5 needles a day and when I was type 2 before WLS I had to give myself insulin shots 4 times a day, we know all about the lack of freedom it causes and how uncomfortable many shots a day are. that is so great for you kiss

I have been thinking of getting a pump for the past several years, but don't like the idea of having a needle always in me and connected to tubing especially while I sleep. I don't mind doing my needles 4-7 times a day. But that could be due to that is what I have done most of my life. My diabetic team always tell me that I will not even notice it. What do you think so far?
