5 day pouch test?
Actually, the 5 Day Pouch Test is a "diet" that **supposedly** shrinks your pouch back down. Of course, it really doesn't, but it sure does help to kick the carbs and get back on track.

No - he was referring to a leak test on the pouch and he's correct. The OP of this thread was asking about the 5DPT, which is a well-known diet. Just two separate things is all. :)

I've never done it, but lots of people on this forum have. It's a structured 5-day food plan. I believe it starts with liquids only (including protein shakes), then progressed through the phases of food integration that we use post-op (soft protein, more dense protein etc). People tend to do it either to get back on track with their food intake or to "test" their pouch because they're feeling like they can eat too much food etc.
