Sounds like many people are experiencing stalls right about now, including me!  It's not unusual, but it is very frustrating.  All you can do is keep following the rules, try upping your protein and water intake, keep your carbs low.  Be very mindful of any snacking you might be doing unconsciously.  I can admit to some not so mindless sneaks since Christmas, so this week I am faithfully going clean - no sugar, lowering my carbs, just eating clean meats & veg mostly.  Hang in there, as hard as it is.  Give ourself an honest overhaul, start tracking faithfully.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Hi there

It is perfectly, frustratingly normal LOL

Try journalling all your food, and changing up your food a bit. The body gets bored with the same things.
Watch your carbs and make sure you are getting protein and water in

Keep your chin up

plateaus are NORMAL, they just happen to different people at different times and for different lengths of time

just stick with the plan and remember that losing 76lbs in 5 months is AWESOME!!!!, when else in your life have you been able to accomplish that~!!!!

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!

I just had an one month stall myself, 4 months out.  I wasn't too worried, realizing I'd stall at some point.  I stopped eating solids for about 2 days, going to protein shakes, and the weight started coming off again.  So all is good.  Don't get discouraged, just change things up and stay positive!

I have not had my surgery as of yet but I just wanted to say you are doing great and with every diet program I have done before my body always stalled and that is when I fell off the diet.  So I know when i get to a stall i will be on here asking for advise.

Ive been in a stall for 6 weeks now. My weight finally moved this week and Im hoping to continue seeing changes but it's SO frustrating! I was so desperate that I did the 5 Day Pouch Test to see if things would get moving again and they did.
