Myfitnesspal has probably the best database for food tracking.  I use a Polar M400 watch but its more for GPS for running and has great multi-sport functions.  Phone apps don't do well after the first 6 miles or so.  Couch to 5k app is great if you want to start running for exercise.  I also use an app called JEFIT to get weight routines for the gym.

I will have to download the JEFIT app! Sounds like something I could use! Thanks!

EDIT: I just went and looked it up... do you use the free version or did you pay for the PRO version? Thanks!

I use the free version.  I probably don't get the full experience of the app as I basically use it to get ideas for weight routines for certain muscle groupings.  I think you can build your own work out and keep track of weight and reps for each lift.  I just use it to see all the many different ways I can torture my core, back, and legs.

Thanks for mentioning this app! I just downloaded it.

I am using the beginners routine that doesn't require any equipment so I can exercise at home.

Thank you!

I use the Fitbit Surge and Myfitness Pal.  Love both of them.

You can track eating and exercise on fitbit, if you prefer to have everything in one place. I have not used it, though, and usually use myfitnesspal when I track (which is not very often). I do love my fitbit.
