Dreaming of the day I can run outdoors again.

We are having some crazy hot weather...even our lows are breaking records. I've been running on a treadmill all summer and dream of the day I can take my long runs outdoors. It is too crazy hot to get out there even our lows have been dangerously hot!

I did manage to run around the lake while vacationing in CO. We also took some major hikes...what an experience!
Hope all is well!

congrats on at least getting on the treadmill!  I just can't stand them.  I made it to the dreadmill 2X on my trip to Mexico because the humidity and heat from the sun was just too much for a northern girl like me, but it was painful.

I've been watching the news about the heat down your way....amazingly awful.

Between the weather and steering clear from injury...the treadmill has become a faithful friend. Enjoy the outdoors for me too! I'm be dreaming of the outdoors while on the treadmill.

Me too!  I've been supplementing my running with the "dreadmill" and I hate it.  I am also dying to hit the hiking trails.....I only hike Fall-Early Spring and it is so close now I can taste it!!

I'm at the beach all next week and cannot wait for those wonderful long runs at the water's edge.....

Have a great day!

I hate the treadmill too, but feel it has made me a better runner.  GA is nasty hot as well and it is miserable most times to get a long run in, last time I tried it was like 78 with 85% humidity.
