Did some research and found one supposedly the professional use General Pipe Cleaners T6FL Teletube Toilet Auger with Regular Head.   It is around 59 dollars and zero shipping.  I saw the cheap one I had prior which was under ten bucks and broke.  I am grateful for augers but they are gross and if I am spending additional 50 bucks for the heck of it I would rather not.  It was rated high on Amazon and wondered if any one on here at to purchase one and could share if this is over kill or a good investment since with my DS it is unlikely I will stop clogging my toilet.  I had tried to flush in the middle of my bm but it is not working..............  Thank God the clog I have now is back far enough the water is clear and more importantly we do have a second bathroom!!!!  Thank you for any knowledge.

Sorry, the only augers I know anything about are used for planting flowers. (*grin*)

I always thought that an auger was like an industrial drill used in factories.  Anyway, I have had a low-flow toilet for more than two years and have never used anything like an auger.

When you go to buy a toilet, at Home Depot anyway, they list everything about each toilet. You might be surprised by what is different between them all. Like the "trap" or hole that everything goes down and through is different with each toilet. My son and
husband used to plug up the toilet all the time and we were constantly plunging it, which when you do it often breaks the seal on your wax ring, and you end up having to remove your toilet to replace it..... uhg. Not fun! I went shopping for a toilet, and found one with the biggest "trap" and bought it. They will also tell you if the trap is Glazed or unglazed. I know, you probably had no idea that this was also a factor, I had no Idea either. Of course glazed is best. Things don't get hung up on the inside as easy. Just by two cents......

Dear me... that looks like a tool for serious blockages.  I have never had to use anything like that.  But I have tried my share of plungers and finally found the perfect one...

Neiko Heavy-Duty All-Angle Super-Power Plunger

It's the #1 best seller in its category.  It's easy to use, and doesn't require a lot of arm strength.

I have one, and it is well made. I own an apartment building, so it's seen some use.

The best thing in the world is a power-assist toilet. Instead of water in the covered tank, there is a plastic air reservoir. You could flush a good-sized puppy with one of those. It will be the best couple hundred bucks you ever spent.

So it would require new toilet.  I bought new toilets after my DS and thought I was getting one I would not have clogging issues I was wrong.
