When is the constant "pooing" supposed to kick in?

Okay... when are the constant bathroom trips supposed to start happening? I thought the primary method for loss was the potty time.  Am I unique?

It's Day 15 for me, BTW.

About the second day...lasted 2 weeks.

After I got on full solids, I shifted to constipation not diarrhea.

"Constant pooing" is a myth created by those who do not have a DS.

Me too, never had been constipated until after surgery.  Not what I expected at all

Everyone is so different. It might depend on your pre-op and post-op diets too. Don't get too excited. It will happen and you'll be wishing for the exact opposite. But I agree, "constant" isn't really what happened to me. It was just more frequent and liquid. Gas also relieves pressure on the tummy so I hope you're having some of that. Ha!

Constant pooing???? I'm 3 months out and can say that wasn't my experience. Even when I was figuring out that I became lactose intolerant I would go 5 or 6 times through the day. For the last two months I go from 1 to 3 times a day.

It's not a method of weight loss. Just an indication about how well your malabsorption is working. Still, at 15 days,  very little in means very little out.

I poo a bunch, whether I'm in a losing phase or not.  I have done it since about 1 week out from my DS.  I go in the mornings maybe 3 to 5 times.  But the important point is that a BUNCH comes out each time.  I am constantly amazed.  I don't know how I possibly even eat enough for all of that to come out of me.  It is a mystery.

I agree!  I don't go that often, but when I do, I am amazed at what comes out....tons!  Even if I didn't feel like I went that much, the bowl is filled!  Sorry if that's TMI, but I'm glad someone else feels the same way!

LOL, this is so true. I have gotten the giggles so many times asking myself where the hell it all comes from! I only ate a yogurt and pooped a cow!
