Less than a pound drop this week. Working hard to hit 220 by Friday. I have been behind a bit with the water. I am focussingon getting that back on track today to flush the Christmas salt out. I did very well. Not one cookie, not one candy, only had low carb pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

I hope everyone has a great week!

I survived FOUR Christmases this past week and 3/4 of them had people I hate there. And I managed to lose 4 pounds. I'm feeling ridiculously proud of myself here. I didn't eat anything there though so I shouldn't be all that surprised lol. I don't trust myself to eat most food at these things so I pretty much ate what I brought.

But my big news is that I got a job!! (I think I accepted it after the post last week.) I start a week from today, I posted about it on the main boards so everyone may know about it but I'm super excited and nervous about it. It's been years since I worked in an office - I've been working from home for a very long time. I had to go shopping for work clothes since I didn't have any older clothes for the office plus I'm now in sizes I've never been in ever. So that was fun and luckily after we got some Christmas money so yay! It's bizarre to buy size Large in pants, I honestly have no memory of ever buying that size, ever. I'm still buying 1x in shirts, mainly due to my arms but I figure I'm at 9 months out, I still have hope that I will get in regular sizes yet!

Again Congrats with the new job, I know its been a long time coming & you must be super excited! One thing I learned as I went down in sizes is that depending on the brand a 1x is the same as an XLarge. I learned this as I was buying clothes & I'm still so used to buying the plus sized 1x but I can sometimes wear the xl instead, just something to keep in mind while you're out there shopping!

Congratulations on your new job! This sounds like a great way to start 2016. It can be helpful to have additional focuses apart from food. This is something I noticed to be helpful for the many people I work with. If this is the case for you; WAY TO GO!

Happy holidays!

Ooh girl you're good!, I went all out on some cookies the other day, damn they were good, but so glad for the most part I've kept myself in check, & I'm still on that downward trend. I'm back to that teaser weight & hopefully I can break thru to the 180's soon. So my stats so far:

High weight 366

Last week 194

This week 192

Next goal 180's (surgeons goal)

Ugh!! Holiday eating finally caught up with me (I had managed to stay at goal until this past week). I will lose it ASAP or it will drive me insane!! I went with a friend of mine to Weigh****chers yesterday. I like WW and am a lifetime member under goal so it was free. I tracked all my food yesterday even though I ate too many points. I will go grocery shopping today so I can make better choices.

Hi Laura,

You sound like a very focused woman. One "out of the norm" meal is okay! It sounds like you have resumed the patterns you established which is what makes the difference. It sounds like you are doing great!

I don't normally do this, but on a lark I hopped on the scale today and I was 219. I will strike while the iron is hot and say New Year's goal is made. Just waiting on the boobs (but really 1/4") on one measurement isn't going to cause any lost sleep. Some friends have dubbed me "Keurig" Becasue I am peppy and full of energy? No. Because like coffee, people are always happy to see me? Maybe but no. It is because of the K-Cups!

I hope everyone has a great week!
