I have to be on a bland diet. Sure is boring.

What do you define as "Bland"? Some people would define it as anything less than Vindiloo, others would say any food that has any seasonings, herbs, spices, salt, pepper, or strong flavored ingredients.

The next question would be why? Because if it is that your digestive system is having an issue, you need to be clear what the issue is. Acid? Lactose? Gluten? Stomach Acid stimulants? Particle size? Salt content? Type of protein/Denseness? A food that is a member of the nightshade family (tomatoes, potatoes, tomatillos...)?

There are lots of reasons that the medical profession has people stop eating one thing or another. Orange juice can be a problem for some people, while hot chili peppers a problem for others.

So depending on what you are restricted from, your diet may feel bland and boring, simply because you are not allowed to have something you are used to eating.

It is better to travel and get lost...

Than never to travel at all.

Is this due to the dilated bile duct issue? I'm assuming so. Sorry you're having to go through this.
