The pain is going away

My soreness is gradually getting better and better with each passing day. I feel really good lying in bed. I also can walk with normal posture and not like an old man with a hunchback.

I keep thinking about this time last week when I was lying in the hospital basically unable to move or breathe deeply. At the time, I thought I'd never feel normal again. Fortunately, our bodies are able to recover quickly!

Have a good night, everyone!

Great news! Am thankful for the pain and how quickly it subsided. I know EXACTLY what you mean about walking like a hunchback old man. That was my least favorite part lol

No one at my work knows I had the surgery, so I used the excuse "I must have pulled an ab muscle at the gym, or something"

Keep on keepin on!

Do you really believe you can keep your surgery secret at work when you are posting here and on Instagram, in a blog and on YouTube.  When one person finds out, everyone will know.

So far so good. I've told a few people. My instagram is a unique account, not the same as my normal, which work people have.

I do not cross post items.

At first I didn't tell anyone except close friends and family, but now I've been telling more and more people as time goes on and they are amazed at my weight loss.  I have been so happy with the WLS experience that I feel that I should share it with others.  Don't know why my comfort level with sharing changed, but it did.  As usual, just my personal experience - everyone needs to decide for themselves what their comfort level is with sharing.
