Kat, I do the same thing when I need a piece of something sweet, but my favorite flavor is chocolate peanut butter.

Even my husband was able to find a pair of pants that were too big at his "normal" size.  He got to got down to a 35 instead of a 36.  We don't get to pick our clothes by the inch, we have to go from 8-10-12 and all of the manufacturers use a different measurement.  It's frustrating.

Of course size doesn't matter!  Only, well yeah,  of course it does.

It is a head game and can be so frustrating.  I find myself looking for clothes and seeing all these large and x-large sizes and thinking Why didn't I know to look here when I was bigger?  I always assumed that I had to shop in the large lady stores or departments.  Who knew that on the rack at TJMax I'd find the best clothes for half the price in a size 18/20?

I have been at goal now for a while and I dropped to 20 lbs below it for  6 months so I have "skinny" clothes in some ridiculous sizes.  I will say that once you are below 150lbs (I'm 5'4 so this is my reality) that every 10 pounds makes a HUGE difference in what size I wear.  And I can wear micro sized clothes at 120lbs but at 125 I am in a size 2.  At 130 lbs I'm in 4 and  at 135 lbs a 6/8.

When I was MO - I could gain or lose 30 lbs and not know it because my clothes fit the same.

It's easier when you are at a stable weight and you settle on a few brands that work for you.  But it is crazy and can waste a lot of time trying to figure out what fits.
