Hey ya'll!

I'm getting ready for my surgery in a few days (Tuesday Dec 29, day before my 26th birthday!). I'm wrapping up 10 small gifts from Ulta with congrats notes and encouragement notes to myself for 10lb weightloss increments!

I asked earlier on here about things to do for my 26th birthday since I'll be drugged and feeling "blah" post op. I keep joking about my birthday chicken broth I get to enjoy! Anyways, someone recommended making a list of 26 things I want to do, that I can't do now, in the next few years or so. .....I only got to 8 things. I NEED HELP and IDEAS!!!

1) Run 5K (plans for this in April/May depending on when I can start working out again

2) Backpacking/hike in the Ozarks

3) Climb a small mountain

4) Visit Yosemite

7) Participate in a swim and run race (if there is such a thing....)

8) Walk 100 miles (First goal! not all at once....I can work on it day 1 post op!)

.....and thats it. I need 18 more ideas!! As you can see, I enjoy being outside.

One of mine is to be strong enough for one of those obstacle 5ks (tough mudder,  warrior dash,  etc...). I lost a bunch of weight in 2010 (without surgery) and was running a lot,  but wasn't strong enough to complete the obstacles in the warrior dash.  It was still a fun time,  but very difficult.  Great challenge!
