insurance issue's

I have a dilemma. I was supposed to submit all my paperwork on the 12 of aug for approval for surgery. My surgeon as of 1 of aug they stopped taking my medical group. I feel comfortable with my surgeon. I have 2 choices. Switch medical groups and get new physician *****fers me to my current surgeon or stay with current physician and get referred to new surgeon. I need advice on pros and cons of each. So frustrating. I dunno what to do.

If I understand this, you need to find a physician who can refer you to your current surgeon.

Insurances change all the time.  I sometimes have to change doctors due to insurance changes.
