i'm two weeks out from a Lap Band/RYN revision and I'm still in a ton of pain. I think the pain in my left shoulder is due to the gas trying to escape (yeah, i at least have 1 pain narrowed down).

Does anyone know how long until the gas pains go away for good? I had two surgeries, Oct 3, and 6th due to complications.

Hello,

Congratulations on your surgery but we are sad to hear you are not doing well.  Please contact your surgeon and get their input concerning your pain. You may also want to post this on the Revision Forum also.

Gas pain is fairly normal and walking it out usually helps but you have been through some added complications so be sure to keep a dialog going with your surgeon's office. Make him aware of the pain and that it is persisting perhaps he can offer some suggestions or treatment... you aren't bugging them and heck even if you are that's what they get paid the big bucks for.

Hope the healing is speedy and you are feeling better and better every day!

Movement, light walking, gas-x are all good and the lung exercise breathing machine too.
