Please tell me I didn't just see that Advertisement Banner

that just ran across the top of my OH screen.  It literally said "YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE OBESE TO GET THE LAP-SLEEVE"

Are you kidding me?  I didn't click on it fast enough to pull up the actual text.  I am hoping against hope the blurb was inaccurate.

I'm hoping it was somewhat out of context.

FWIW, the DS was/is an approved method for dealing with diabetes under some conditions.  Not all diabetes are/were obese.  So, since the sleeve is part of the DS (although it can also be a stand-alone), I guess that the statement could be true.

That said, I would hope that someone would not subject themselves to surgical solutions unless they had a valid reason.
