Really struggling with the protein today

I'm 6 days post op and I think it's a total loss today. I'm way ahead on my water, but I've only had 25gms of protein. Hopefully I can choke down some more before 10pm, but it's very unappealing right now.

You're still healing. 25 g is great for 6 days post op. Just keep doing the best you can. Have you tried Isopure liquid? It's WAY sweet, and I personally had to add Mio to change the flavor up, but it's got 40 g or protein in one bottle. I used it for the first week or two when it's the hardest to get in protein.

Just try to do better every day and you'll get there! Best of luck!

I tried some Isopure before surgery and thought it was just disgusting. I don't know if I could tolerate it now, but I could go to GNC and buy a couple bottles.

I used the grape and the fruit punch versions and added grape/fruit punch Mio to them to make them ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE GRAPE AND FRUIT PUNCH... Because, let's face it. They don't.

I used Isopure... Water it down and drink it really cold. It was my best friend (I can't say that I front of my Chapstick) :)

I love the pure protein from Costco. It's delish, not a lot to drink at once, making life easy while in recovery. I'm 14 days out. Good luck.

Is it the powdered Premier Protein or ready to drink? I've had some luck with the vanilla RTD. I just poured out 4 ounces and dusted it with nutmeg. it tastes like a yummy liquid custard. I can usually manage about 4 ounces in an hour, but not much more.

If you don't pour it out. You can't tell what you've had and the best advice I've had to date is DO NOT use a straw. ;)
