The stomach bug

Any advice on surviving a stomach bug? The night I came home from the hospital, my son woke up puking....I'm terrified I'll get it. I stayed pretty far from him all day, but you know how germs spread in a house with kids.... I have a script for Compazine...think it would cover me if I start feeling queasy?

You have a fair amount of meds in your system from having the surgery so that should fight it well enough. If it's viral, it won't hurt you but it will make it hard to get in enough liquids. Treat it like you would if a baby gets it. Pedialyte will be your friend. Good luck.

I just dealt with the norovirus that laid me low for the last 5 days.  Only threw up once but the diarreha was horrible!  Fluids, fluids, fluids...Pedialyte, Gatorade, warm tea, lots of water.
