Some one pound losses are bigger than others - part 2
Hi all,
I had a scale victory this week. I am finally below 220 pounds. This is a biggie for me, because for the first time, I can see myself getting to onederland. When I started this process at 385 pounds, I knew I'd be ecstatic if I got below 250 pounds. And I was so grateful when I passed that milestone. But I don't think I ever contemplated getting below 220, and stepping slowly towards 199!
I am just so grateful for my sleeve and for that restriction that stops me from eating too much. I am grateful for you all here on OH who understand the pain of obesity, the weight loss journey, the struggles and the rewards of this adventure. Where ever you are in your weight loss journey, take a minute and appreciate the courage and perseverance that we bring to this process. We all deserve success and health and opportunities to live our lives to the fullest.
Have a happy and blessed New Year, everyone.
Carol

Congratulations to you, Carol! I have watched your progress eagerly since I became a member here because you and I started this path with similar statistics. Your progress is nothing short of amazing, and every time you post it inspires me. You give me hope that I will get to goal too. :)
May 2014 see you achieve your goal!
