Had surgery yesterday. Nausea kicked in like a raging bear about 14 hours after surgery. Leak test is this morning. Pain level has been minimal. But the nausea and vomiting.... got to be honest.... sucks big time.

The worst part is over - yay!  If you're like me, the nausea and vomiting could be from the pain meds.  The sooner you can get off them the better you'll feel.

I had my surgery yesterday too. No problems with nausea...getting most of my fluids and walking in. It does take a little time to straighten up into a full standing position. Looking forward to a shower this am.

Hang in there! If the nausea rx isn't working maybe a different rx will be helpful?

They have switched me to different naseau rx to see if that helps. Hopefully, this will help.

Hang in there!!!  Been wondering how you are.  Hopefully once you are off the pain meds the nausea will stop.  Have they given you anything for the nausea?  Hope today is better.

First, let me say, Congrats on getting through your surgery and I hope all continues to go well for you.  Now, let me say I'm so jealous!  I am just looking into surgery now and can't get time off wor****il June or July so I feel like it's going to take forever for me to get where you are.  OK; enough being selfish and stealing the lime light... best of luck as you heal and start your new life!  Take care!

Today is better....up to keeping down watered down juice and jello. Popsicles on the other hand are the devils food! Yikes, did they make me ill.
