Powdered Vitamins??

I'm looking for something that I can add to my morning protein shake... Even some sort of vanilla flavored liquid would work. I just can't seem to remember to take my multivitamin (BAD, I know) and I figure that adding it to my shake would help and create a "2 birds with 1 stone" scenario.

Anyone ever hear of or use something that might work for me?

Not sure about powdered vitamins but those Bariatric Advantage chewables used to make me cough when I bit into them because they practically turned into powder immediately.  Maybe try a chewable with a pill crusher?  Would that work?

I just carry around those long skinny pill boxes labeled Monday-Friday in my bag.  First thing when I get to work, I put that sucker on my desk so I can stare at it all day long.  It helps me space out my multi, Vit D, Iron (I'm anemic), & B-12.

That's a good idea. I hadn't thought of using a pill crusher. Thanks!

I crush the bariatric infusion vitamins, and mix them with my yogurt.  I bet it would work to put them in a shake, as well.

Good luck,

Carol

Sam's had some powdered vitamin drink -- and I mixed it with flavored tea.  They called eco-drink or something, but they are fruity.  I used them early on, and they worked well.

Are you only taking a multivitamin? If you take any other pills my suggestion would be to add check boxes to your food journal.  I did this for my multivitamin, my calcium +D , and my B-12 pills.  I also uses a pill box setup with a weeks worth of pills with am and pm doses.  I never miss any since I write down everything I eat during weight loss mode.

Adding crushed/liquid to your protein drink will take the same level of conscious action as would creating a routine to always take your MV with the first drink of your protein shake in the morning.

In the beginning I was doing the crushed pills adding it to drinks or soft foods.  For me this became harder and harder as I started to get out more and when on vacation or away from home.

Whatever you do make sure you are consistent with it and it will become a habit.
