Has anyone found any sugar free popsicles without aspartame or any other cancer causing ingredients.

Thanks.

Sherry

I was looking for that myself last week. I hate the flavor of those chemicals.  I have made a small fruit slushie in my vitamix with frozen fruit. Fruit Stix? is in the organic frozen section of grocery store. It doesn't use artificial sweetner, color, or flavor- but that means that it uses sugar.  So, I'm looking for no sugar added and no artificial sweetner.  My best bet so far has been doing something with frozen fruit.

I was so sad when I went to have one and discovered the crap they had in them.  Now I have a big box taking up space in the fridge.  I made pudding pops (added protein powder to pudding mix and a little extra almond milk) and they were great.  I actually hadn't planned on it but the pudding wouldn't set with almond milk so I needed to do something.  I keep meaning to make some sugar free kool-aid pops - thanks for the reminder!

When my son was young I would buy him 100% fruit juice pops - but of course, not sugar free.

Hoe exactly did you make the pudding pops and what did you use? Did they set?

I (and when I say I it means my son because he's been making stuff for me :) ) used a box of SF pudding and added the 2 cups almond milk.  Added in 1 scoop Vanilla PP and another 1/2 cup almond milk.  Put it in the fridge to set (which it didn't - it became a little thicker, but soupy) so my son put it in popsicle molds.  I had some four 2 oz molds and four 3.5 oz molds - each 2 oz pop is 27cal, 2.5 carbs, and protein.  The large ones are 48 cals, and approx 4.5 carbs & protein.  I have only eaten the small ones and they're perfect.  I wasn't sure I was even going to eat the pudding because it was higher in carbs than I had realized but the small pudding pops were perfect!  In the future I'd do this again but I'd put in another scoop of protein powder to double the protein and then maybe a bit more almond milk - but I loved the popsicle texture.

I added up the nutritionals for all the ingredients then figured out how much for each popsicle.
