Hair Loss Post Plastics?
I'm planning on having plastics in Sept. I will be having a LBL and BA/BL in 1 surgery. I lost quite a bit of hair around post-op month 5 and am just now feeling good about my hair again. For those that have had plastics, did you lose similar amounts of hair after plastics as you did with your bariatric surgery?

Weight Goals: 145 lbs (normal BMI) in 32 weeks. 135 lbs in 37 weeks. 130 lbs in 45 weeks. Fitness Goals: 5 K -- 4 completed in 2013! 10k -- 1 completed 2013! Half marathon -- 3 planned for Spring 2014.
Plastic Surgery: LBL, BA/BL done by Dr. J Barnthouse 9/13.

I did not have any hair loss post plastics. But....I had a 14 hour surgery under twilight sedation/epidural rather than under general anesthesia soooo maybe that has something to do with it? Not sure, but I didnt have any issues.,

I've had other surgeries where I was completely under, and I didn't have any hair loss. I haven't done my WLS plastics yet, but did have reconstructive PS as a child as a result of a dog bite:( I think the hair loss just comes from the lowered calories we're intacting at the beginning of our journey.
