Hello to all,

I have been in a major 6 mth stall.   I still have 20 pounds to goal and I'm really struggling.  I need some suggestions please.  I have not been able to do any weights, due to a torn rotator cuff.  Due to have surgery in June.   I need some workout ideas that can jump start the weigh loss again.  Without being able to use my arms, I'm at a loss for new ideas.

Also what are your favorite meal ideas.  I'm going back to 600-800 cal/day and  less than 40 carbs.

Any help you can give me would be great

     Thanks

      Jane

Okay, you're not in a stall. You've hit your maintenance level. So getting back to the 600-800 is going to be great for you! Congrats on doing that!

I would recommend you use an elliptical trainer. You don't have to use the arms and can get a great aerobic and cardio work out on that machine!

Good luck with that last 20!

My fave is baked salmon. I make a vinaigrette with lemon juice, olive oil, tarragon or dill and tsp of dijon mustard. Put salmon filet inside parchment paper pocket. Pour a couple Tbsp vinaigrette on salmon. Grate some lemon zest over top. Pinch edges of parchment paper pocket all the way around to form a pouch. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes (my oven cooks it in 13 minutes just the way I like it, not dry) I have 1/4 cup green beans or sugar snap peas or favorite steamed veg on side and it is a beautiful meal.
