I just saw my doctor and I have lost 52 pounds since surgery....63 total with pre-op. I am feeling so great and if it wasn't for my plantar fasciitis that is kicking my butt, I would be able to incorporate my exercise. I can now start taking my medicine for it so I will soon get back to my exercise routine.

This has been one of the greatest journeys that I have ever taken and I am liking it

Happy Friday!!

Hit the refresh button on your browser.  It's usually up there near the address bar and looks like circle with an arrow at about 2 pm.  This will update the page and your new stats should show then.

Good for you that is great weight loss.

I also suffer from PF.  Do you mind me asking what meds you are taking for it?  It is one of my big concerns about getting active after my surgery.

I battled with a bad case of PF . It took about 7 months to clear up completely-I feel your pain. Stretching out the back of your calf muscles will help tremendously. Stand about a foot away from the wall. Put your hands on the wall and your foot behind you (like a backward lunge). Heel flat on the floor till you can feel the muscle stretching. Don't bounce- just let it stretch for about 15 secs. Switch legs. Repeat several times. This stretches the facia on the bottom of your heel. You can also find devices called rockers that accomplish the same effect. Doing these stretches before exercise/cardio have kept the heel spurs away- I don't ever want to go through that kind of pain again. Good luck.
