What kind of tests are given the day before surgery? I had a set of test done in Nov. that were called pre-op.

VSG on 01/07/13

I had my preop today for surgery on Monday. I had blood work, X-rays, and an EKG.

I did too. But, they were done again today. I guess to make sure there aren't significant changes.

Lap Band on 02/25/09

I had them done on the 2nd for surgery on the 22nd. Lot's sooner than I was banded but I think it was because they had planned for the 8th. I don't have any the day before. They will do the morning of test like before all surgeries.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Thanks...must be all routine. I have an early surgery, so they might want to do blood work the day before.
