I am feeling frustrated today. I knew the time would come for me to be stuck I just didn't think it would happen so soon or feel so long.  I lost 14 lbs the first week and now, thanks to plateaus (yes that is plural) I am only down 40 lbs at 6 weeks (next friday). I know, I know, I know I was to expect this and 40 lbs is more than a drop in the bucket but man I am ready for some more losing here.  I guess I need to stop being so impatient. I have been trying to get to the gym once a week, I know I need to go more, but the trainer I am working with really kicks my butt. I am a nurse so some of the days I work I am up and running around a lot.
This too shall pass.  This too shall pass.  This too shall pass.
I feel a little better...

40 pounds in 6 weeks is a ton of loss!!  I am  6'2'' and lost maybe 27 or so by that point- and I exercise regularly!  Just try to be patient- it truly adds up over the months.  Hang in there!

Gurl, I think you are doing pretty darn awesome. Sometimes we stall for a while and then we drop a bunch of weight after. You are only 6 weeks out. Think of how much you can and will lose in the next 6 weeks!
