Smaller Utensils Link?

A little while back someone here posted a link to a fancy version of small utensils. I have baby food spoons, but it might look a bit odd at work with brightly colored spoons that look like toothbrushes.

The set in the link looked like regular silverware, but they were just very small! Does anyone remember this, or know of any products like this? I tried searching but didn't come up with much.

They are called appetizer utensils. You can order them thru amazon, bed bath and beyond, pier one etc.  Though I just use the baby utensils- makes them easier to find when digging through drawers for a spoon.

These are the ones I got from Amazon. I love them so much, I want the 'full size' versions, too. The company also has some other really neat designs. Also in your searches try looking for ****tail utensils or use "mini fork" or "mini spoon" that may help you with finding more.

You're welcome! I still use them, though I can more easily judge the size of bite I should be taking with 'regular' utensils now. Getting used to it, I guess. I also got some pretty dessert plates (smaller than salad plates) for my food. I will use ramekins for my bowls too, since most bowls seem so huge. I thought about the baby plates and utensils but I wanted to feel like a grown up, not a toddler, LOL. Though there are some REALLY cute baby sets out there I was almost tempted to buy. Hee hee.

And I really do like the ****tail set so much, I am thinking of getting the regular sized version to replace my current silver ware.

I often find them in KITCHEN stores in major malls...and some a NOT ****tail pieces, but regular smaller (kids) utensils in the same color as grown up silverware is. I Googled, 'mini silverware' and 'small cutlery' and found many places to get. I got a small carry case for them, too...like hair stylists carry their $200. shears in.

I got some from Cost Plus World Market. Here is a link to them on their website, although I prefer to by them in-store. I find the little knives to be unnecessary.

I love the trebel clef one. I almost got those for myself, the company that makes the ones I have make a similar design (heck, it may be the same company). I got a set of four forks and four spoons without the knives. The World Market's near us closed :( I got mine from Amazon.

Hello everyone,
This is an interesting post. What is the purpose of the smaller utensils. This is my first hearing about this.

Thanks

To help you learn to take smaller bites. Early out, it's especially important to take tiny bites and chew really well.
