I got my Surgery Date! ^_^
WOOT! :) Got my date for Surgery finally! October 28, 2014! Little less than a month! I start the Optifast on Monday!....which I am not looking forward to because apparently chocolate has been on back order for 3 months so i have to deal with icky Vanilla for 3 weeks lol... hopefully I can survive gross vanilla lol.

Check out the recipes forum ( http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/ontario_recipes/ ). There is a thread there for surviving optifast. If you like coffee, there are some that add instant decalf coffee to the shake for a Cafe Late. Or some will add crystal light for a creamcicle (sp?) taste. You can also pick up some SF syrops to add to it too! You'll get through this, no problem. Just "keep your eyes on the prize".

I also recommend "Hot Chocolate" style. you can't use boiling water but the water temp that comes from a Keurig will make a mighty fine Hot chocolate from Optifast. I did 3 weeks of hot chocolating and LOVED! Opti, Cat is right you will do fine on opti and keep your eye on the prize!!
