Hey all just wondering who has one month post op at Toronto Western Hospital on Wednesday. I know a couple people that will be there and was hoping I could meet others. On an extremely positive note, my friend made me some mushroom soup yesterday and a tomatoe soup as well, we decided it was time to try some pureed foods, sooooooo for dinner I had 1/4 cup mashed potatoes, 1/4 cup mushroom soup, and half an oz of cheese. all mixed in together, took about an hour and a half to eat but i got through it no nausea no pain such a nice feeling.

I feel the same way. I'm 5 days out and tried cottage cheese for the first time today. It took me 1.5 hours for 1/4 cup.

I'm ascared!

Remember these are basically fluid foods. They can not hurt your new pouch that is why you are on the full fluids diet so you new tummy can heal. Just take your time and enjoy.

Hey BluEyz, I can't answer your question but maybe you can answer mine. I was just wondering how long you had to wait for your surgery after you saw your surgeon? I'm having mine at TWH and was just wondering if there is a long wait from the time that you see the surgeon to the time of the operation? So glad to hear you are doing so well.

Finally doing well yup im a couple weeks behind where i should be but finally today got those potatoes down. I saw the surgeon and signed consent november 30th and my surgery was jan 31st, I would have had it mid jan but, i am diabetic so i had to have the first operation of the day. it took me 2.5 years from referral to surgery.
