pre-op tomorrow at Humber. It is getting so close to surgery day. Went out today and bought some apple sauce (unsweetened), SF jello, SF pudding, cottage cheese, and greek yogurt plain. QUESTION........what kind of SF syrup will be good in either yogurt or cottage cheese?

depends what your preferences are. Do you like fruity things, sour, savory?I personally liked the raspberry syrup in yogurt. Cottage cheese is not a fave of mine, so can't make any suggestions that way.

I like a few SF flavours in my greek yogurt:

- Raspberry

- Peach

- Pumpkin Pie

- Caramel

- Chocolate

I wasn't a huge fan of cottage cheese, but enjoyed having something with texture after surgery.  So Karen M gave me a great way to doctor it up - 1 packet of Splenda, and as much cinnamon as you'd like.  Warm that up for a few seconds in the microwave, and it's yummy!

I simply used splend in my yogurt and cottage cheese. If you want something different try adding SF jam, thats real yummy.

I think some places give different rules. I was not allowed to have SF jam's initially. Now (8 weeks post) I can have it. I could have the crystal light pouches and then the twin sugar. I made Greek yogurt  in an ice tray and then I had a frozen treat .

For cottage cheese, I prefer peaches or pineapple - not a SF syrup but the fruit.
