Ok so I had my first shake at 830 am and tried to have my second shake at 1 and couldn't and I am still full. I go to take the shake and the thought of anything else in my tummy is making me stop. I feel full like I ate a huge meal full. What am I suppose to do? Has anyone else felt like this? I know it is just day 1 but am just curious.??

are you drinking water as well? You need to try to get in all the shakes. I was starving in between my shakes, so i'm afraid that i'm not really much of a help

I had to get up earlier. You have to get all your shakes in.

I had my shakes on the following schedule:  8 am., noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.  By drinking water between the shakes I felt full.

The Optifast 900, has approximately 225 calories per package.  If you are not able to drink all of the shakes you are not getting enough calories nor nutrition.  You do not want to go to surgery being deficient in nutrients, etc.

Unless someone else has also experienced this and has an answer, I would suggest that you call your bariatric centre and discuss this with the Nurse Practitioner.

I agree on what the others said. Really try and get in all your shakes. You need the nutrition.

Thanks for all of your advice and support... I have just taken my third shake.... I basically sucked it up and said it is just your head saying you are full.... ( i am not 100% sure if that is true) I am feeling so full. I am not sure how or when the fourth one is going in but I am going to do my best. ugh!! i also called the hospital hopefully they can give me some insight.... my habits before this was drink water all day and eat at night so I hope it is just my body adjusting.
