Switched and feeling great!!

I had the duodenal switch on March 14..i am feeling great! Down 21 lbs so far..still on pureed food...Surgery went well, and was released after 6 days....they took my gall bladder too due to scarring. I have to say...the first 3 days post op, I felt so odd....not sore...more like drugged or fatigued....and then they stopped the dilaudid and I have been feeling great since! I don't mind answering any questions if anyone has any (:

Congratulations. I am glad to hear that you are feeling well. I was wondering how you made out. 

Good to hear...I was thinking about you and wondering how good your French was getting!!!!  Congrats...and good luck....

Please do keep posting...I think you are one of the few "Switcher's" on this site and it is always good to have another option...

Many nurses/doctors spoke english very well (way better than my french)....Happy Easter to you as well (:
