No longer Super Morbidly Obese - 1st Goal met

I am so excited to share the news that I am no longer super morbidly obese. I have now lost 21 lbs. in the 12 days since I had the WLS. The BMI index falls: 1) When decision made to do the WLS: 52.8 2) Leaving the hospital- post-op: 51.9 3) One week out - down 10 lbs: 50.1 (almost out of super morbidly obese) 4) Week and a 1/2 - down 21 lbs: 48 (ONLY morbidly obese and the equivalent to losing one toddler! Sorry - I'm a visual person.) Anyway - quite excited by this turn of events - it helps me balance out the fatigue and the head hunger. All my best, Michele P

Hi Michele, congratulations! It wasn't very long ago that I also became just morbidly obese (a.k.a. extremely obese) What a great feeling. Keep up the good work. God bless you, Annette
