Obesity & Me

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.

Eating has become such worry!, I know I should not eat and buy lots of things. I end up buying some good stuff and other fatty junk foods I should not be eating. EVERYDAY is a challenge to make the right choices. I have been doing better losing 6 pounds feels really encouraging but at 257 pounds 5ft 2 inches I'm going to have to do way better than that. Im now looking at surgery and I am soooo ready for a real life style change ' No going Back'

What was (is) the worst thing about being overweight?

Having a hard time being active. Not being able to feel comfortable in my clothes. Feeling embarrassed by my size at times. Being overweight is really hard on your mind and your body...

If you have had weight loss surgery already, what things do you most enjoy doing now that you weren't able to do before?

Still post op however I'm sure having the surgery is going to change my life FOREVER FOR BETTER!!!!
